Nigel Farage backs Labour’s non dom announcement
The Ukip leader has arrived in Grimsby, North Lincolnshire where he has said that Mr Miliband’s announcement is not “completely wide of the mark”.
In today’s most confusing election stunt so far Mr Farage has just set sail with reality TV star Joey Essex. The pair cast off from the Grimsby docks on the Humber Venus pilot vessel leaving dozens of journalists from Britain’s newspapers and news outlets on the shore.
According to the Grimsby Telegraph One reporter asked Mr Farage if he knew what a “vagazzle” is, to which he replied: “I haven’t a clue.”
He also said he had not got round to getting a fake tan to match Mr Essex and hoped that their meeting would encourage young people to vote.
Despite being clad in a life jacket and large high-viz jacket Mr Farage said: “I’m not a big believer in health and safety. I’m more of a risk taker.”
Mr Farage is targeting the constituency which has been held by Labour since 1945 because of a strong Ukip showing in last year’s local elections when the party won four seats at the expense of Ed Miliband’s party.
