Ed Balls on camera in January saying abolishing non dom will ‘cost Britain money’
A video has been released by the Conservatives in which Ed Balls, the shadow chancellor, is on record warning of consequence of abolishing the non dom status altogether which could be potentially damaging for Labour. Ed Miliband is has just begun his speech in Warwick and is expected to respond to the criticism. Updates soon.
The video has been put out alongside an attack poster questioning Ed Balls’ commitment to the policy, in January he appeared to have different opinions on the policy of scrapping non dom status – you can see it below

Labour, meanwhile, accuse the Conservative of “thrashing around” as they try “to justify their unjustifiable opposition to non doms policy”.
