Ukip support slips in key marginals

Lord Ashcroft’s latest poll shows that Ukip support is slipping significantly in nine out of the ten marginal seats polled. The slip in support repeats the trend in the polling Ashcroft released last week on Liberal Democrat battleground. He says the shift is the most “most notable movement” in the polls with the party falling by up to ten points in nine of the ten seats polled. However it important to note that while these seats are Labour and Conservative targets they are not Ukip targets and the party did not necessarily expect to do well in all of these places.
