Michael Crick’s verdict: Ed’s enjoying this
I don’t think I’ve seen a party leader in an election so relaxed and in such a good mood, as Ed Miliband today. It partly reflects the fact that Labour’s had a good couple of weeks so far, of course. Perhaps it’s a combination of two things – Miliband knows that in a month from now he’ll either be prime minister, or be rid of the horrible burden of being leader of the opposition.Do Labour’s words in the manifesto about “the concentration of media power in too few hands” being “damaging to our democracy” apply to the BBC? Somehow, I doubt it.
