Cameron unveils new armed forces plans in Scottish manifesto
The Conservative leader has announced new armed forces measures in his Scottish manifesto launch in Glasgow.
The Tories have promised “guaranteed veterans priority access” to the NHS throughout a veteran’s life, including for mental health.
The party also plans to boost Combined Cadet Forces in schools “so more kids get the chance to learn skills like leadership and self-reliance”, and has committed to working with the private sector “to make life easier and cheaper” for armed forces members and their families posted abroad.
