Cameron: Not surprised Ed Balls was Miliband’s third choice
David Cameron has responded angrily to Ed Balls’ claim that government money “hadn’t run out” in 2010.
The shadow Chancellor had said a letter left in the Treasury for the coalition government declaring saying there was “no money” was a “jokey note”.
The prime minister was asked whether people could believe Tory claims they would balance the books in three years, following a warning by the IMF today.
