Leanne Wood asks Ed Miliband if he would “press the button” on a nuclear weapon against Isis
The question: Would you keep Trident, and should defence spending be above 2% of GDP?
The Plaid Cymru leader challenges him on his comments that Isis is a dangerous threat when the conversation was about Trident. She asks him if he would press the button on a nuclear weapon against them if he had an opportunity.
She presses again – do you need nuclear weapons against Isis, would you use them. He says of course not, but that military action is appropriate in Syria.
