Question 5: What deal would you make?
Question five: What deal would you be prepared to make in the case of a hung Parliament?
Ed Miliband is first up to answer – David Dimbleby says he is not to say that he is simply aiming for a majority as that’s not the question. We’ll see if that works…
No, Ed Miliband’s not biting in his introduction. He wants to run this country, he says, to implement his manifesto. He’s “got and old fashioned view” and wants people to decide on May 7.
Mr Farage says that everyone believes, even the nationalists, believe in being in the EU. He says that if Ukip have influence and he would need a referendum. He says it is a mystery to him why Labour aren’t offering one. So that’s the Conservatives then?
Nicola Sturgeon says the most important deal is with the Scottish people… and then she wants to “see the back of the Tories”. She will “never, ever” do a deal with the Conservatives but says “Ed is not strong enough to get rid of them on his own”. She wants to work with Ed, Leanne and Natalie.
