Bets placed on Labour candidate to topple Conservative cabinet member

The Liverpool echo is reporting that £5000 has been placed on Labour’s Margaret Greenwood winning the Wirral West seat from Esther McVey in recent days. The seat, which is a very close marginal, was won Ms McVey by just 2,436 votes in 2010. According to bookmakers it is one of the most bet on seats in the election so far.
