Nigel Farage: Migrants will keep coming across the Med unless we send a message

Nigel Farage has been on ITV’s Lorraine this morning where he claimed that if the situation of migrants in the med was not sorted millions would come to Britain.

The Ukip leader has been on a media round and told news South that migrants who alighted in Italy should be returned back to their own countries on sea-worthy vessels.

Mr Farage said a “big message” had to come from southern Mediterranean countries such as Italy and Greece, that “‘unless you send a message that you are not going to unconditionally accept unlimited numbers of people; they are going to keep coming”.
