What are we going to do about generation rent? #whyvote

Rosie asks what are you going to do about people stuck in jobs that they don’t want because they need to take just any job to pay back all the debt that they owe.

Rosie: We are stuck in jobs we don’t want, if we have one

Amelia Womack for the Greens says end internships. She says that they are an exploitation of the workforce. She says that zero hour contracts are outrage against the workers rights people have fought and died for – and that she meets women who are too worried to have children on such contracts because they won’t get maternity pay.

We are back on generation rent now. The audience demands what we are going to do about the lack of housing for young people – Miss Geddes demands what the parties are going to do about people like her who might become homeless because of changes to housing benefit.
