Harriet Harman: If you were limbering up for the Olympics 100m you wouldn’t imagine coming third

Labour’s Harriet Harman is doing the media round, popping up everywhere. She is being quizzed on whether Nick Clegg would be Deputy Prime Minister in any coalition that Labour managed to form.

She won’t speculate. Instead she says if you were limbering up at the Olympics for the 100m, you would not start imagining coming third before you had even started the race.
