It’s still close: This morning’s polls show Labour and Tories neck and neck
The TNS and updated YouGov polls are out this morning.
TNS has the Conservatives one point ahead on 33 per cent to Labour’s 32 per cent while YouGov has them tied on 34 a piece.
The TNS poll was an online poll between 30 April and 4th May of a representative sample of 1,185 adults. They say that their data is indicating a turnout of 69 per cent tomorrow.
Using data from the last seven TNS polls, voter turnout is predicted to be 69% across Great Britain, with Scotland somewhat above the average at 71%. TNS data suggests a turnout of only 56% among 18-34 year olds, much lower than the 82% predicted for those aged 65+.
