Nicola Sturgeon goes back to the day job at First Minister questions
We’ve been more used to seeing the SNP leader on a soap box rather rather than in the Scottish Parliament, but she does have a proper job to do there whcih doesn’t involve vowing to lock the Tories out of Westminster or trying to nab as many seats off Labour as is physically possible.
Here she is in First Ministers’ Questions where she tells MSPs: “This is an opportunity for us to unite as a country”.
SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon told the Scottish parliament that because election’ is not about independence’, it was an opportunity for people in Scotland to come together ‘and make our voice heard’, regardless of how they voted in last year’s referendum or previous elections.
Her comments were met with snorts of derision from MSPs of opposition parties.
