Conservatives hold Swindon North as Labour seeing swings to Ukip
This was 102 on Labour’s target list. They won’t be happy with their vote share drop here at all.
This is a much bigger swing than polls had suggested.
Conservative Justine Greening has also held on to her Putney seat, the swing to Labour of just 0.4% in Putney which is again less than Labour would have hoped.
In Labour holds we have also seen swings away from Labour – Houghton and Sunderland South and Washington and Sunderland West both saw a 7 per cent swing Lab to Ukip.
