Vince Cable personally thanks hundreds of supporters

He was one of the shock scalps taken in the general election – Vince Cable, MP for Twickenham for 18 years.

The former business secretary has been inundated with messages of support from well-wishers on Twitter – and has spent the days since the election personally responding to them all.
