George Osborne: no powers without mayors
Chancellor George Osborne is giving his first speech since the election and reveals that his Cities Devolution Bill will be in the Queen’s Speech later this month.
Speaking in Manchester he is outlining plans to give English cities powers over housing, transport, planning and policing.
